Tommorow is the start of my 13 days trip around japan.
Here's the plan:
I will leave Paris at 15:00 For Doha Flying Qatar Airways arriving at 23:20.
I'll make a connection In Doha at 1:25 AM To arrive at Tokyo Narita Airtport at 16:55 local time the next day (Wednesday).
That's a fairly long trip, however once at Narita I'm not arrived yet. I'll still need to take the Narita Express a high speed train. But even with that it's a 55 minute train raide to Tokyo , in my case I'm headed to Shibuya train station so it's 1 hour 20 minutes if I get the right train.
Once at Shibya It's still a 15 minutes walk to the Ryokan (the japanese hotel)
So hopefully I'll be arriving at the hotel in one piece around 8 or 9 o'clock at night on Wednesday.
In tokyo I'll stay at the Fukudaya hotel . It is a very friendly hotel , clean and very affordable for it's awesome location. According to their website "Back to the Edo period in the late 19th century, our ancestors have run Waki-honjin (an officially appointed inn for Samurai class and general travelers with status and wealth) in Niigata prefecture." I'm no samurai but I'll setlle for the status and wealth comment.
Here's the type of room I should get:
And What I think I'll sleep on:
I wonder if that's what I'll really get.
I'll upload my own pictures.
but more posts to come soon.
