Tokyo Skytree is a broadcasting, restaurant, and observation tower. It became the tallest structure in Japan in 2010 and reached its full height of 634.0 meters (2,080 ft) in March 2011, making it the tallest tower in the world and the second tallest structure in the world after Burj Khalifa (829.8 m/2,722 ft).

After all that sushi I looked up to the sky,  not a single cloud in the air so I headed strait to the Skytree Tower. There is also a very nice mall next to the tower on 5 levels.

The tower is really impressive when you get bellow it.

Once I got inside there was a 30 minutes wait to get the ticket to go up and another 15 minutes waiting for the elevator. I really liked the ceiling of the lobby right before you get in the elevator.

Now the elvator was really something, It takes you up there in the blink of an eye , less time than our office elevator takes both in Paris and Phoenix. The skytree elevators (there are at least 4 of them that go up)  reach an impressive speed of 60 meters a second! that's 260 kph, (134 mph). and you don't even feel it.
Quite an impressive feat of engineering.

At the top is the most impressive view I have ever seen.

After I got down I found an awesome Ghibli store dedicated to Totoro.
