In Japan , French language is very chic, it is common that many stores and even chains use french names or at least names made with french words in them. So far so good. To a person that does not know french these names would sound french, if you are french however those names make you laugh, a lot.
We call those ridiculous french names framponnais. So today as I was looking for an exit at the Tsukiji station I ran into this.
Champ de Herbe, oh la la !
So in French herbe is grass or weed , and champ is field. So we all can guess what a field of weed would look like. Also in french there is already a word for a field of grass, it is called a gazon.
In Japan , it is forbidden to smoke giant cigarettes while walking in the street.
Since imperial law requires all Japanese to become skillful ninjas it is illegal to shout and make a noise.
Doing so will disturb their training.
